My Movement Medicine

My first thing in the morning daily ritual:

My first teacher training was in 2004 as a Nia instructor.  I knew I was experiencing my, and my students, most fun and intelligent way to exercise. Nia is fitness’ best kept secret. But it shouldn’t be! Experience yourself in a whole new way with Nia, a conscious movement workout: a fusion of the dance arts, healing arts, and martial arts. All are welcome to   modify and find your own freedom and form, and your own discoveries, as you embrace the uniqueness of moving your body your body’s way.

Few muscles escape Nia’s attention, which helps improve flexibility and balance, builds core muscles and reduces our risk of injury.- Gregory Florez, CEO of FitAdvisor Health Coaching Services

What students are saying:

I love that we are all moving together, however at our own pace and rhythm. I feel more in touch with my body. After five years, it still feels fresh, fun, and challenging. I love doing this form of exercise!! Felice F.
I find exercising with Lisa free-flowing, energetic, and fun. Thanks so much!  Rachel K.
